1. What is PLC, HMI?
PLC (Programmable logic controller) is a programmable controller. PLC have:

+ S7 1500: future new line to replace S7 300 and use TIA Portal software to program
+ S7 400: Siemens’ high-configuration plc line from the past to now, supported on Tia Portal software and in the past used Simatic Manager software.
HMI (Human Machine Interface) is the screen used to set up the machine control interface. HMI have:
