Overview of ABB Inverters

ABB inverters (motor controller, inverter, drive) are manufactured according to European standards (Sweden). In addition to good product quality, intelligent features, abb inverters are also equipped with EMC filters that allow maximum noise reduction and environmental protection. In industry, ABB inverters are widely used from simple applications such as pumps/fans, conveyors… to complex applications requiring high precision, large torque at low speed thanks to technology DTC – Direct Torque Control is unique to ABB inverters.

1. Small inverter ACS55

Use speed control of 3-phase asynchronous motor, 220VAC, 0.18-2.2 kW; IP20; Output frequency: 0-120 Hz
3 digital inputs (DI), 1 analog input (AI), 1 relay output (RO)
Variable speed rheostat (optional)
Applications: simple machines, packaging machines, conveyors, automatic doors, fans, pumps, …

2. Small inverter ACS150

Using speed control of 3-phase asynchronous motor, 220VAC/capacity from 0.18-2.2kW; 380VAC/capacity from 0.37-4kW; IP20; Output frequency: 0-500 Hz, power factor 0.98.
Compatible with FlashDrop programming tool, built-in EMC filter, brake controller, built-in control screen, speed control rheostat, coated board.
5 digital inputs (DI) including 1 pulse input (Pulse Train 0-10kHz), 1 analog input (AI), 1 relay output (NO+NC).
Applications: simple machines, packaging machines, conveyors, automatic doors, fans, pumps, …

3. Inverter for machine building ACS355

Using speed control of 3-phase asynchronous motor, 220VAC/capacity from 0.37-4kW; 380VAC/capacity from 0.37-11kW; IP20; Output frequency: 0-500 Hz, power factor 0.98.
Compatible with FlashDrop programming tool, Sequence Programming, built-in EMC filter, brake controller, coated board.
5 digital inputs (DI) including 1 pulse input (Pulse Train 0-16kHz), 2 analog inputs (AI), 1 relay output (NO+NC), 1 Transistor output (10-16kHz) ); 1 analog output (AO).
Protect the inverter when wrong motor cable, control cable.
Application: OEM for textile machinery, printing machinery, food processing machinery, rubber, plastic, wood, conveyor belts, …

4. Standard inverter ACS550

Use speed control of 3-phase asynchronous motor 380VAC / capacity from 0.75-355kW; IP21; IP51 (optional). Output frequency: 0-500 Hz, power factor 0.98.
Built-in EMC filter, brake controller (up to 11kW), coated board.
6 digital inputs (DI), 2 analog inputs (AI), 3 relay outputs (NO+NC), 1 analog output (AO).
Built-in two independent PID loops.
Built-in RS485/Modbus communication port. Other network communication modules (optional).
Functions to support start-up, support maintenance.
Application: constant torque or variable torque loads such as conveyors, pumps, fans, …
